Heatable as the second Vaillant heat pump quote
Heatable sell air source heat pumps, and their product page is an estimate tool rather than a shop window of named brands. Their heat-pump FAQ puts a typical install at £7,000 to £13,000 before the grant, and the paid step is a £240 in-person heat-loss survey, deducted if they install. They apply for the grant, and they’re MCS and a Which? Trusted Trader.
They don’t list a Vaillant aroTHERM Plus on their price list, so if you already want that exact unit, iHeat is the public price. If you want a second MCS number against iHeat, or you don’t mind which outdoor unit the survey specifies, add Heatable: same grant, same survey logic, a different price list.
The grant on a Vaillant heat pump
Ofgem’s property-owner page pays £7,500 off an air-to-water or ground source heat pump in England and Wales, rising to £9,000 from 21 July 2026 to 31 March 2027 if you’re off-gas replacing oil or LPG. Air-to-air is a different £2,500 product and isn’t this job. The installer must be MCS, and hybrids that keep a fossil-fuel boiler alongside a heat pump aren’t eligible. iHeat and Heatable both apply, and you just confirm consent when Ofgem emails you rather than applying on GOV.UK yourself. A Vaillant heat pump is not a boiler swap
A combi replacement is a day on site. A Vaillant heat pump needs a heat-loss survey, space for an outdoor unit, and usually a cylinder if you currently have a combi, with radiators and pipework checked along the way. iHeat’s next-day heat-pump line is a booking claim; the survey still comes first.
