Who to quote for solar panels
You do not need a winner among panel brands. You need someone who will design the roof, fit it properly and put a price on the same job. Heatable and iHeat both do that. The panel, inverter and battery get picked on the quote, not on a score we made up.

We are not ranking Aiko against LONGi against Fox ESS. Those names are what iHeat sell. Heatable’s hardware pitch is LONGi. The quote picks the array for the roof. Scaffolding, bird mesh and electrics can sit outside an online number.

- Warm Homes: Local Grant can include solar for qualifying households in England. Council-led. Check GOV.UK.
- 0% VAT on qualifying solar supply-and-install until 31 March 2027 is a tax relief, not a grant and not a payment holiday.
- iHeat solar finance is from 9.9% APR. Their 0% APR is on heat pumps and, separately, on boilers. Do not copy it here.
- SEG, not FIT. Export payments need MCS and a smart meter. The feed-in tariff has ended.

Not BUS. The live national relief is 0% VAT on qualifying supply-and-install until 31 March 2027. That is a tax relief, not a grant. Warm Homes: Local Grant can include solar if you qualify. Local or ECO schemes exist in places; do not treat them as a national promise here.
Can I get 0% finance on solar?
Not on iHeat’s solar page. They advertise finance from 9.9% APR. Their 0% APR is on heat pumps and boilers. Heatable’s “pay nothing ’til 2027” line is VAT timing, not a 0% APR claim we can copy.
